OB Global Period question

How many obstetrical visits are required to bill globally? (In this instance a patient was seen twice in the office, delivered, & had a post partum visit).

Refer to your CPT® book: 1-3 visits are billed as E&M(s); 4-6 are billed as 59425; 7(+) are billed as 59426. In your case, the delivery would be billed separately along with the two E&M(s)
