Lumbar Spine Fusion with Modifier 62

Our claim denied for frequency due to the primary surgeon billed with CPT® 22558-62 and it paid as a professional claim. Our group billed the same coding. How can I get this claim to not hit edits with the carrier? Do I put a modifier 51? Please advise. Thanks

I will submit a appeal. I wondered why the claim denied when it's a different practice/Tax ID. Thanks.

They have to be different specialty designations (ex, ortho and neurosurgeon)
