Lab Test if Physician is not present
Should a physician be present if lab tests are performed in the office in order to bill for those tests? What about venipuntures when a physician is out of the office? Thanks in advance for your help.

36415: general supervision meaning that the doctor is available but not necessarily in the office suite.
For other diagnostic tests consult Physician Fee Schedule, level of physician supervision required.
