modifier use
Pt came in for destruction of lesion of the arm. 5 days later, pt came back for an o/v (knee pain) and another destruction of lesion in the face. Do I have to put Mod. 24 for this date of service? Thanks!

I would bill 99213-24 w/ 715.96 and 17000 for the destruction of lesion (face). We did a destruction prior to this DOS, but different anatomic site (arm). So, this is not the same lesion that was destroyed before. So, is mod. 24 applicable for this service?
