G codes for refills

What G code is used for refill prescriptions and do we have to submit a superbill with every prescription to get credit or can we use a report from our e-prescribe software? Thanks

G codes for refills

You do not report anything if you are refilling prescriptions over the phone.

You report the G codes with the appropriate office service codes whether the prescription is new or a renewal.
