Assist at surgery

On any given surgery where an assist can be billed, can you bill 2 assists?

You can bill 2 assists, whether you can get paid for them is a whole other matter. At the very least, you would probably have medical review. I wouldn't expect routine payment for a second assist.

This is an old resource (2011), but it lists services where a second assist *might* be needed. It doesn't get into payment policy, just potential medical need.
