When billing a 43248 and a 43239 should there be a 51 modifier on 43239? Are you still using 51 modifiers?

I have never used -51 modifier for these CPT® codes together. There is no CCI relationship between the two.

The 51 modifier is for multiple procedures. Do you use 51 on any of your procedures when more than one is performed?

No I do not and I don't with the two CPT® codes in question.
