Scenario:
42 year old female presents with c/o Post-Op Check for for 2 weeks laparoscopic cholecystectomy .
Denies : Wound Problems.
Drainage.
Fever.
Pain.
Nausea.
Vomiting.
Swelling.
Activity.
GYN:
Denies : Pain.
Patient is here with concerns of having children. Her husband is unable to have children and she wants to seek a fertility specialist.
Hypothyroidism:
c/o Hypothyroidism.
c/o Compared to last visit the hypothyroidism has improved after being seen in the hospital, symnthroid levels were changed, now wants to loose weight and is requesting phenterimine..

Assesstment: 575.0//244.3//278.02//628.9
Can I used CPT® code 99214 and G0305 at the same time?

The wound check for post-op visit cannot be billed (global period)
Why are you using G0305??
The E/M for the thyroid condition does not show moderate complexity MDM (99214). The appropriate level of E/M is based on medical necessity and complexity plus a detailed history, physical. Look to exact documentation to support code level and place modifier 24 on E/M for medical condition(s).
