Glucagon Stim Test-Arginine

I hope someone can advise me on the following question.

Can we bill for the 9 blood draws/flushes from the IV cath? If so do you know what cpt code to use? Below is a description of what we're doing:


We are only injecting the glucagon and then drawing thru an IV multiple times and all the blood test are sent to outside lab:

1Draw baseline glucose, growth hormone and cortisol levels (this is after a 18 hr fast) – we then inserted IV cath (for every 30 min blood draws)

2.Inject 1mg Glucogon IM – (rx given to pt who paid for and picked up)

3.Wait 30 minutes after injection and draw 1st sample, this is followed by draws exactly every 30 minutes x 4 hours while monitoring pt condition for glycemic changes. Pt is to be lying down for duration of test.
