Dr. office visit same day as ultra sound

Pt went in for an ultra sound of the kidney, never saw the Dr. that day. Just had the ultra sound done and left. An office visit was charged to pt same day???? Can they charge for the ov?

No, you cannot charge for something that was not done nor documented...that would be fraud. If the insurance company requested records, there would not be any supporting documentation to send for an office visit, therefore you cannot bill.
