Inflamed sebaceous cyst
The area was prepped in sterile fashion and the skin overlying the abscess was anesthetized with 2 cc of 1% plain lidocaine. The area was sharply incised and found scarred inflamed sebaceous gland . 2%Lidocaine with Epi used to infiltrate skin to remove gland and scarring tissue, skin edges trimmed . Wound closed with 4 sutures , Prolene #4 used. Patient tolerated procedure well.
