55520 Excision of lesion of spermatic cord

Many times my physician, in the process of doing an inguinal hernia, removes a lipoma on the spermatic cord. The documentation really lists the additional service as minimal, but he is insisting that we code for it. Of note, the hernia is done "robotically" which means I would need to use a Lap unlisted under spermatic cord. Work RVU's is 6.66.

What are other people doing. Thank you
