auditor review of PMH

For 99214 visits, we need to review either PMH/SH/FH. I always do a medicine reconcilliation with each patient I see. It’s a mandatory part of my visit. At at coding conference held by Dr. Jensen, http://www.emuniversity.com, he said that reviewing medications counts as PMH for an auditor’s review. Is that true in your experience? Can I do just a review of medications or do I have to do a complete PMH review to get credit for PMH.
