CPT® Code 93270

Good morning. We received a denial from an insurance company stating that POS 22 was incorrect with CPT® Code 93270. I realize that this is a technical component code only, but I am not understanding why outpatient hospital would not be correct. Is there anyone that can clarify this for me?
