One of our providers, a pain management specialist wants to bill a psychiatric consult with a sick visit since the patient is under treatment for suboxone therapy.

if we switch and put the modifier 25 on the psychiatric code is denied as the procedure modifier is invalid.

What will be the correct way to bill to have both codes paid.
