What code is used for nasolacrimal duct stent removal--unlisted 68899 or 68530 removal foreign body lacrimal passages?

Was this an office procedure? If after the 10 day global (68815), would probably be included in Office Visit code.

If physician billing, unless general anesthesia was required (ex, peds) I would include in visit. Foreign body, in coding terms, is an object that has entered and is present in the body, but does not belong there and was not placed by the surgeon. Example of a procedure that is not coded as foreign body removal is:  removal of silicone tubes from the nasolacrimal system (do not use 30300 
or 68530).
