Anesthesia

Hi,

Procedure was cancelled after administration of anesthesia. The procedure was coded with modifier 53, I have coded anesthesia with modifier 53.

But medicare denied anesthesia code as inappropriate modifier.

Please help me, how to bill anesthesia service for this scenario.
