Axillary tumor

The tumor was large, and was intramuscular, so I know it needs a soft tissue excision code. My problem is that I can't decide if this would be considered thorax, flank, or upper arm or shoulder. The report states that "the tumor was right in the middle of the axillary contents and lymph nodes."

I'm leaning towards flank, but I'd really like another opinion. Thanks!

Sounds like thorax to me. But, this is only an opinion and the physician makes the call. Show him codes example, 21556 or 21554 and go with his direction
