Ultrasound Guidance during a LHC

Good Afternoon,

I have a provider wanting to bill for ultrasound guidance prior to perfoming a Left Heart Cath. I've reviewed CPT® 76937, but I'm not sure if it is appropriate or not. Below is what is being dictated regarding the ultrasound guidance. Any help is appreciated.



"Ultrasound probe was used to access the common femoral artery and
an anterior orientation. After this was performed, a 6-French sheath was
placed without difficulty."
