Visit after Hospital Consult

If a doctor sees a patient in the hospital and then they come in to our facility for an appointment, are they a new patient or an established patient?

Assuming that the doctor you are referring to is one who practices in the facility they have the appointment in, then they would be an established patient since they have received a face to face professional service from that doctor (or any doctor in the same group/same specialty) within the previous three years.
