CPT® code 33967 and 33968

My group is billing 33967 and 33968 together for Priority Insurance. 33967 rejecting as bundled to 33968. Is there a better CPT® code to use.

You code and bill what you do. From a CPT® coding perspective, it would be appropriate to report both the IABP insertion and removal on the same day using codes 33967 (insertion of IAB assist device, percutaneous) and 33968 (removal of IAB assist device, percutaneous). But, individual payers make reimbursement policy, not the CPT® manual. Many payers will do this bundle.
