RVU's

How do you get RVU's for the codes Medicare doesn't cover, and subsequently doesn't have on their website...like preventative visits? I do have a book from Ingenix but it's from 2008...where does this info come from?

RVUs

CMS does develop codes for these services. The Final Rule, and the Medicare Fee Schedule, have RVUs. Maybe your carrier doesn't post them.

And download the files at the bottom. They're large!

Alternatively, sign up for a trial subscription to codecorrect.com, or ingenix's on line program and look them up during your month of trial.
