Is there a code to use when billing for a ballon sinusplasty?

Sinus surgery

There is no specific CPT code for "balloon sinuplasty" because it is a tool/piece of equipment and not a procedure. If the balloon catheter is used to displace bone and tissue of the sinus endoscopically, then use the usual endoscopic sinus surgery codes (eg, 31254-31288). If an endoscope is not used or there is no displacement of bone and tissue, then use an unlisted code (31299).
