appropriate use of code 58548

When code 58548 first came out - we were told this was the appropriate code to use for endometrial cancer surgeries - much like the open code 58210 - now we are being told that we should not be using this code unless peri aortic lymph node dissection or sampling is being done along with pelvic node dissection - can anyone shed some light on this.

laparoscopic radical hysterectomy with pelvic lymphadenectomy code --Code 58548 is removal of the uterus, portion of the vagina and BSO. (and of course the lymph nodes)
