ICD-9 for afebrile

I'm a coder at a state/local health department, we have clinics in the area schools. I'm having a problem finding an ICD-9 to use when our nurses have a child sent to them by a teacher for a suspected fever. The child is afebrile, with no other symptoms, the nurse has hx and mdm so could code a visit but I haven't found an Icd-9 to cover this. Does anyone have any suggestions?
