Incorrect modifier

I have a CPT 23472 that rejected for my assistant surgeon for incorrect modifier. It was filed with mod 80 and mod 59. Per my CPT book, it is eligible for an assistant surgeon. Do I just need to resubmit, or am I missing something? I haven't had this happen before.
