Why did you do an office visit? Was the PAP already scheduled. Need more information.

Well, the patient had the abortion done at an out of town clinic. The physician who performed it stated she would need to follow up with her primary care doctor for a PAP. The PAP was done, but while the patient was in the office, she discussed other medical issues with the physician including, but not limited to, contraception. I have not had this coding scenario before, so I was wondering what ICD-9/CPT® codes to use. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

look at ICD-9 codes: V72.31 and V25.09. Could be more based on what was discussed.
