Collecting Deductibles up front

With so many patient's health care options changing to high deductible plans, our practice is considering collecting deductibles at time of service. Can you advise me on how we need to implement this, and the legal issues revolving around this issue. Thanks

Legal issues should be discussed with health care attorney. What is your process for knowing what deductible has and has not been met?
