Repair work from hysterectomy

Dr. did a vaginal hysterectomy. When Dr. was suturing, they accidently sutured patients bladder. The Urologist was called in to repair the incidental cystotomy and then performed a cystoscopy to confirm there were no further injuries and that the repair was complete.
I am no sure which modifier would work best for this situation.

Thanks

re: Repair work from hysterectomy

No modifier is necessary since each procedure is separate from the other and surgery performed by two distinct surgeons.

If the urologist is not going to follow the pt for post-op, then he will need to use mod 54 so that he is only paid for surgical care.
