J-code modifiers

Does anyone know what modifiers should be submitted when multiple J-codes are submitted on the same date of service?
(ie, J1100, J1040, and J0696) We've had several claims denying. The denial message is: Injection when alternate drug is available require modifier. We appended a 25 modifier to the E&M. Not sure what else they're asking for.
Thanks for any advice on this issue.

Is that for a Medicaid claim?

We had the issue w J1100 on Medicaid claims and were not able to find the correct modifier. Of course we called Medicaid (Texas) several times but they wouldn't help. We found 2 modifiers on their manual -> JA & JB for admin of subcutaneously and intravenously, but they did not work. It stayed a mystery to us!!....

Yes, we've called the Medicaid Reps as well and got the same response. Which was no help at all... Thank you for sharing that information.
