Cimzia Injection

What is the correct administration code. I was given 96401. Is anyone giving this?

I wouldn't charge it as a Chemo administration because it's not a chemo drug.
I would charge the admistration of a 96372 if it's given SUBQ.

actually it is a chemo code

I code 96401 all the time for Cimzia. Its not a chemo drug, but it IS a monoclonal antibody and is classified as a biological.

Also, if you're doing 2 injections, which is the norm, be sure to bill 2 units.
