Injection codes

If I am giving a Kenalog 60 IM injection, I only code the JCode, correct? I don't have to also code 96372: Injection, ther/proph/diag?

No, that is incorrect, You HAVE to bill for the administration of the injection. Why wouldn't you want to give your provider credit for performing the services? Are there other services being performed w/the injection also?? not quite sure why you wouldn't want to bill for the services rendered as the J code is only for the medicine!!

The J code is just for the Meds so yes you need to add 96372. Also so you should make sure the for the J code you use 4 units because it per 15 mg.
