Nsvd with btl

How do you code a nsvd with a btl on the same date at different times.
ex: she had the nsvd in the am and the btl was at noon?

i know of modifier 79 but i'm unsure if that is applicable to same day services or if it must be at least 1 day later during the post operative/partum time period.
