20550 code

Does anyone know how to get Medicare to cover 20550 codes? They deny as not being medically necessary. Is there a modifier that needs to be used?
We tried using dx codes 729.1 and 726.5 but still get denials.

Check your Medicare Contractor LCD for this code. May be in same policy as Trigger Points. The policy will list the appropriate diagnosis. Good Luck!
