cpc exam

Hi,

I am going to write my AAPC CPC exam in the month of
August, can anyone help me out with exam tips and how to complete the 150 questions within the stipulated time. Practising old question papers from 2008-2013 is enough or do we need to practise more, please guide me in preparation also.

I recommend you find a local chapter that has exam review classes prior to the exam.
My experience was when I came across a specialty type question that I had no experience with I skipped it kept my momentum going then went back to the skipped questions so I could take my time with them. Remember you must answer all qeustions.
You do not have to get 100% to pass so don't stress!
WHen I had a question that it was taking me too long to figure out the CPT® codes I answered the question by selecting the correct set of ICD-9 codes. That either gave me the answer or narrowed it down to save time.
