36415 bundled?

Hopefully someone here can settle a difference of opinion in our office.

When billing for procedures performed in our in-house lab (e.g. CBC, CMP, Lipid panel), is it appropriate to bill for a 36415 (venipuncture collection) or is this considered bundled with the larger procedure?

have always billed it successfully with in house lab procedures for more than a few years now and currently. watch the diagnosis with some payers, including medicare.

I bill office visit, labs and venipuncture all the time and get paid 3.00 for 36415 from Medicare.
