80303

I am getting denial from medicaid for code 80303 as need manual pricing, I also spoke to some rep's at medicaid who says "state needs to fix a price for this code to get processed". Now some of the rep's are saying the price has been fixed and suggested to refile the claims. I did refile some claims and these are getting denied for the same reason. Can you please tell me, what is current issue on this code?

Hi Prakash,

I would like to tell you that there are three CPT's 80303, 80320 & 80329 for which medicaid will denied as procedure not payable this recipient. But this CPT's are related to drugs screening and need to resubmit the claim with valid CPT®.

Do we need to have an administration code to bill this code??
