Coding outside Global Package

scenario #1: ob pt hospitalized, long term, for short cervix effecting pregnancy (649.73) in second trimester - can doctor bill admit and hospital visits? This is extensive care above and beyond Global.

scenario #2: ob pt hospitalized, long term, for HTN (642.03); preeclampsia (642.43); and IUGR (656.53) - again, can doctor bill admit and hospital care?

I work in a OBGYN office and any time that our OB patients have to be hospitilized due to other issues that have arisen outside the global package we bill for the physicians services including admit and subsequent hospital care. I don't see why this wouldn't get pai.d a global pregnancy I think would be a normal one that did not include extensive care or hopitilization. Anyone have any other thoughts I this I would appreciate it, thanks:)
