E/M auditing

Using the 95 guidelines for exam, can you count body areas AND organ systems within the same exam? The following body areas and organ systems are documented: General, vital signs, skin, HEENT, neck, lungs, heart, abdomen, neuro, muscuoskeletal. How many points/elements would you count under 95 exam guidelines?

Using the 95 guidelines: a problem focused, expanded problem focused and detailed exam can use both organ systems and body areas. A comprehensive level uses 8 or more organ systems (do not include body areas). In your example: Constitutional; Integumentary; Eyes; ENT; lungs; cardiovascular; GI (if extended exam); neuro; musculoskeletal systems.
