ICD-10 Assumptions

In Home Health ICD-9 there are assumed relationships between DM and Gangrene, DM and Osteomyelitis, and between HTN and CKD if no other cause is stated. I have heard that the these assumptions for Diabetes Mellitus will not carry over into ICD-10, but what about the assumption for HTN and CKD?

re: ICD-10 Assumptions

Thank you very much. I went back and read that guideline for chapter 9. Do you agree that there is no assumed relationship in ICD-10 with Diabetes and Gangrene and Diabetes and Osteomyelitis? I am enjoying the ICD-10 training. Thanks for making it available.
