Hi, Need cpt code for "removal of foreign body from gingiva". Can we use cpt code 69200 for this? 69200-Removal of foreign body from external auditory canal. I'am a bit confused whether to use 69200 or not, because it is only for the removal from external auditory canal(ear). But my provider removed foreign body from gingiva(mouth). Please help me out...

No, you can't use that code. I'm not sure what the correct code is--maybe someone else does--but you can't use the wrong code. I'm not near a CPT book, sorry.
