help
If you do not get a reply to a question asked. Does anyone know where else to go for help??
re: help
I am in the same situation. We used to subscribe to a service, but, they lost their Coder. Depending on what your question is, the CMS website may help you. I have also found that if I Google, a lot of times it brings you to articles or forums that may be of help.
re: help
You could try to ask again on this website. Some of us are just too busy at work to stop and answer every question even if we know the answer, and some of don't know the answer. Some of us are facility coders and some of us are MD coders, and sometimes a coder who has experience in what you are asking is just not on-line to see your question when you post it. There is no way we can view old questions on this website, at least not that I am aware of. I agree Google can sometimes help you and I use it and any other references I have at my disposal before I ask anything on a forum, but sometimes there is no other way to get an answer. You also have to remember that any answers are subject to errors, so don't accept all answers as law.
As coders we all have lofty production goals set by our employers and upper management, and if I am having a particularly bad day reaching those goals because the charts are more intense than usual, I am not even running the website minimized so that I am not disturbed, in order to make production and keep my job.
