We bill code 93041, a rhythm strip. along with a procedure code as the physician monitors the patient before, after and during the procedure (usually a caudal epidural). It used to be reimbursed, but is now being bundled. Does anyone have any ideas about what modifier to use to get this paid now?

Where are you performing the service? POS office, ASC, ED?

If anywhere but the office, it is surely a facility charge.
