Is 93017 considered part of C8930? Can these be billed together?

C8930

When a stress echocardiography test is performed with continuous electrocardiographic monitoring, physician supervision, interpretation and report by the same physician, then the procedure should be reported using CPT code 93351 (C8930 for OPPS, with or without contrast).Transthoracic echocardiography with contrast, or without contrast followed by with contrast, real-time with image documentation (2D), includes M-mode recording, when performed during rest and cardiovascular stress test using treadmill, bicycle exercise and/or pharmacologically induced stress, with interpretation and report; including performance of continous electrocardiographic monitoring, with physician supervision.
C8930- Report for a combined contrast-enhanced stress ECG/stress echo.
Report separately for the contrast agent itself, using the appropriate HCPCS code (HCPCS code Q9955,Q9956 or Q9957).
The last I heard, It was unclear in what circumstance C8930 should be reported and whether stress test code 93017 is to be reported in combination with C8930. Codes 93320 and 93325 may be used in conjunction with codes 93350, 93351, C8928 or C8930. American Society of Echocardiography may have updated information.
