ASC Billing

We are a GI group with an ASC. I am very familiar with billing for our practice but have never had the need to understand the details of facility billing until now. I do know that the CPT® coding, modifiers and ICD-9 coding is the same. What are the differences when billing for a facility versus a provider?

After reading the article I disagree with the place of service code. I have billed ASC for years and use POS code 24.
