Ophthalmology exam in post op period
We have a new doctor with our group (Oucloplastics) that is seeing patients and doing eye exams where I am using the Ophthalmology codes 92012, 92014 for established patients, for the first time. I have a patient that was here for a post op visit after ptosis surgery and he complained of blurry vision, so the new doctor did a complete exam, including dilating just one eye. Since we are using CPT® 92012, not an E/M code do I need to worry about a modifier?
Never mind I received an answer elsewhere.
