I heard that we only have to report 50% of the time for E-Prescribing. Is this true?

Yes, in 2009 in order to be a "successful e-prescriber" you must report the e-prescribing quality measure on your applicable Medicare Part B claims at least 50% of the time during the reporting year. Applicable cases are defined as any claim in which you are biliing one of the codes identified by CMS. You should refer to Medicare's Practical Guide to the E-prescribing Incentive Program found on the CMS web-site for a list of applicable codes.
