New Provider coming 3/15- Please Help!

Hi,
We have a new provider coming into our primary care office, who specializes in orthopediatrics and weight managment. The dr asked me to look into different codes we will need to bill for her. Can anyone recomend me on this, or direct me to a site to learn about what to code for her?

I think there are a few issues:

What will the provider be doing? Office visits, consults, procedures? I would think many of the services would be run of the mill office visits.

What is the specialty designation and what is the specialty designation of the others in the practice. This will make a difference in new versus established patients.

Diagnosis codes will be a problem. Many insurance companies still don't pay if obesity is the diagnosis, so be prepared for that.
