Pulmonary: Inhalation Treatment

Can anyone advise me as to whether you bill the J medicine codes along with nebulizer inhalation treatments (94640) and, whether you can also bill 94664, the one time per visit demonstration/observation of patient utilization of the inhaler equipment. I know that you can bill an Office Visit (if appropriate) along with 94640 with the modifier 25. This would be for MCR Part B I'm having a difficult time trying to find the same answer in two places for this issue!

Inhalation treatment

When I check the NCCI edits it says:

Code 94664 is a component of Column 1 code 94640 but a modifier is allowed in order to differentiate between the services provided.

If you purchased the medication, bill for it.
