If patient has Allergies or Allergy-related symptoms, shouldn't we expect payment for Schirmer Test performed? Example:

Many of our insurance carriers we participate with are now actually paying for this test --- IF we provide allergy-related diagnosis and well-documented charts.
Why such resistance from insurance carriers about this, even still today? Of course tests are experimental - They still pay for them... Your thoughts and input would be appreciated. Thanks.
